I am an assistant professor at the School of International Development and Global Studies (SIDGS) at the University of Ottawa. I obtained my Ph.D. in political science at the University of Toronto in 2020.

My doctoral research was on the inclusion of local populations in development policymaking at the World Bank. I am now doing research on women empowerment practices, the white savior complex in international development, feminist foreign policies and the relations between capitalism, colonialism, patriarchy and racism.
